KATHMANDU: Nepal is likely to see generally stable weather conditions today, with only light rain or snowfall expected in isolated high hilly and mountainous areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, the Weather Forecasting Division said.
The Division said mist is prevailing in some parts of the Terai region in Koshi, Madhesh, and Lumbini provinces, while the weather remains mainly clear in the hilly and mountainous regions.
This afternoon, mist or fog is likely to persist in some areas of the Terai. Partial cloud cover is expected in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, while the rest of the country will see mainly clear skies. There is a possibility of light rain or snowfall at one or two locations in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Tonight, mist is likely to occur in parts of the Terai region. The weather will remain partly cloudy in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces and mainly clear elsewhere. The Division has also forecast a chance of light rain or snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Karnali Province.
