2081 BS to have 35 public holidays



KATHMANDU: The Nepali government has finalized a roster of 35 public holidays to be observed in 2081 BS, catering to various festivals, special days, and memorial occasions.

The Home Ministry recently disclosed the comprehensive list of public and festival holidays designated for the year 2081 BS.

As per the released schedule, the lineup includes 27 festival holidays, earmarked for significant cultural and religious celebrations.

Additionally, six holidays are designated to commemorate special Days of national importance, while two days are reserved as memorial days, honoring significant events or individuals in the nation’s history.
