Varying weather sweeps across Nepal; rainfall likely



KATHMANDU: Nepal is experiencing varying weather patterns with a partial influence of western winds prevailing at the moment.

As of Wednesday morning, the nation is covered in partly to mostly cloudy conditions.

This afternoon, the weather is likely to be partly to mostly cloudy skies in Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces, while Sudurpaschim Province will witness partly cloudy conditions.

The Weather Forecasting Division has alerted that there is a likelihood of light rain in isolated areas within Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces later today.

Additionally, some high hills and Himalayan regions might encounter light snowfall.

Tonight, there’s a potential for light rain in certain places in Koshi Province.

The Division has also noted the possibility of light snowfall in high hilly and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces during the night hours.
