CHITWAN: The Narayangadh-Muglin road section will be open for vehicular traffic during for the whole day today and tomorrow.
In light of the Maghe Sankranti religious fair at Devghatdham during the Maghe Sankranti festival, it has been decided to allow regular traffic on this road section during the daytime, according to Er Krishna Acharya, the Information Officer of Nagdhunga-Muglin Road Project West Sector (Narayangadh-Muglin).
Construction activities have been underway on this road section since December 23, necessitating a four-hour traffic stoppage during the day. The removal of a hillock is currently underway for the construction of a bridge over the Tuinkhola river on this road section.
Prior to this decision, the district’s security committee had granted permission to continue construction work with a temporary traffic stoppage on this road section for an additional three weeks.
