Deuti Bajjai Temple in Surkhet.
SURKHET: The priestess of the Deuti Bajai Temple, a well-known religious shrine in Surkhet, has been found dead.
The body of 50-year-old Saraswati Raji was discovered hanging at the temple entrance at 4 a.m. on Wednesday.
Police arrived at the scene and have initiated an investigation.
Further details are pending. Worship at the temple has now been suspended.
