New ministers to be sworn in along with Prime Minister: NC Spokesperson Mahat



KATHMANDU: New ministers will be appointed and sworn in alongside the new Prime Minister, according to Nepali Congress spokesperson Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat.

After attending the Central Working Executive Committee meeting of the party on Saturday afternoon, Dr. Mahat stated that preparations are underway to swear in the ministers once the Prime Minister is appointed.

President Ram Chandra Paudel is set to appoint CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli as the Prime Minister on Sunday, following submissions from CPN-UML and Nepali Congress with MP signatures under Article 76 of the Constitution.

Sources at Sheetal Niwas have confirmed Oli’s appointment and the subsequent swearing-in ceremony will take place the same day (Sunday) evening at 5:30 pm.
