RSP has changed course, will be a strong opposition: DP Aryal

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has asserted that it will now serve as a strong opposition.

Following the formation of the Nepali Congress (NC)-UML coalition government, RSP Vice Chairman Dol Prasad Aryal stated that the party will firmly position itself as a strong opposition.

“RSP has changed its course; now we will be a strong opposition. We will consider advising on issues of national consensus if requested, but under no circumstances will we support the government. We made this pledge from the beginning,” Aryal told Khabarhub.

He mentioned that while both NC and UML have informally agreed to support the new government, RSP has decided to take a different path.
