KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Department has issued a weather alert for Saturday, forecasting generally cloudy skies with widespread rainfall and thunderstorms across the country.
According to the Department, the country will continue to experience generally cloudy conditions.
Many locations in Koshi Province, Madesh Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, and Lumbini Province are likely to see light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning.
Similar weather is expected in a few places within Karnali Province and Sudur Pashchim Province.
Heavy rainfall is predicted in one or two places in Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, and Gandaki Province.
The Meteorological Department urges residents in the affected areas to remain alert and take necessary precautions due to the potential for heavy to very heavy rainfall.
