JSP Nepal’s convention concludes, Chair Yadav tasked with appointing central committee members



KATHMANDU: The convention of the Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Nepal, held in Janakpur, concluded with the decision to assign Chairman Upendra Yadav the task of appointing central committee members and office bearers.

Upendra Yadav was unanimously reinstated as the party Chairman on Wednesday.

The party also decided to elect central committee members and office bearers through consensus, bypassing the election process.

The convention aims to elect a 201-member central committee and 21 office bearers.

The party’s leadership structure will include one Chairman, one Assistant Vice Chairman, one Vice Chairman, two General Secretaries, three Deputy General Secretaries, seven Secretaries, and one Treasurer.
