International Tourism Fair to begin in Kathmandu from tomorrow



KATHMANDU: An international tourism fair will be held in Kathmandu starting tomorrow (Friday) to promote the country’s tourism on a global scale.

The event will feature tourism entrepreneurs from 16 countries.

More than 150 stalls from various countries will be displayed at the fair, which is organized by Summit Event and Market.

Bishnu Pandey, the proprietor of the organization, stated, “We believe that the fair will help in sustainable tourism development and cultural exchange in the country.”

Countries participating in the fair include Nepal, India, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, the Maldives, the USA, the Netherlands, Sri Lanka, China, Thailand, Dubai, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Bhutan.

Additionally, stalls representing all seven provinces of Nepal will be showcased.

The fair, set to be held at Bhrikutimandap, has received support from the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC).
