Two arrested in Janakpurdham for looting Rs 8 million from cooperative employees



JANAKPURDHAM: Police have arrested two individuals in Janakpurdham on suspicion of looting Rs 8 million from cooperative employees.

Chief Superintendent of Police Bhuwaneshwar Tiwari stated that Janak Mahato and Shrawan Kapar were taken into custody in connection with the robbery of Rs. 8 million.

Chief Tiwari stated that a sum of Rs. 1,453,000 in cash has been seized from the suspects.

The incident involved armed assailants on a motorcycle robbing Birendra Kumar Mahato, an employee of Shubhashree Savings and Loan Cooperative in Sabala Municipality-12 of Dhanusa.
