KATHMANDU: The meeting of the Nepali Congress (NC) Parliamentary Party Working Committee and Parliamentary Party has been suddenly postponed.

The Nepali Congress announced that both meetings slated for this afternoon have been deferred until tomorrow.

The postponed session of the Parliamentary Party Working Committee is now scheduled for Tuesday at 8 am, followed by the Parliamentary Party meeting at 9 am at Singha Durbar.

The Nepali Congress has called for this meeting to delve deeper into the unfolding parliamentary developments.

Central to their agenda is the pressing issue of formation of a parliamentary inquiry into the alleged involvement of Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane in cooperative fraud.

However, the ruling party remains resolute in its stance, adamantly refusing to entertain the idea of establishing a parliamentary inquiry committee under any circumstances.
