PM Dahal laying foundation stone for Narayani Bridge in Chitwan

CHITWAN: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, currently in Chitwan, is scheduled to lay the foundation stone for the new bridge over the Narayani River.

This cable-stayed marvel, a cornerstone of connectivity, will span 420 meters across the river, linking Narayangadh in Chitwan and Gaindakot in Nawalpur along the East-West Highway.

Planned under the eye of the Bridge Division of the Road Department, this bridge promises innovation and accessibility.

Featuring four pillars on its expansive 12-meter width, it will stand to the north of its predecessor, offering improved elevation and a design accommodating small watercraft beneath its lower arches.
