KATHMANDU: On Wednesday, newly appointed Province Chiefs were sworn into office.

President Ram Chandra Poudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to Sumitra Bhandari for Madhesh Province, Delhi Raj Bhatta for Gandaki Province, and Najir Miya for Sudur Paschim Province.

The ceremony was attended by Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire, and Chairman of the National Assembly Narayan Prasad Dahal.
