National Assembly meeting taking place today



KATHMANDU: The National Assembly meeting under the Federal Parliament is taking place at Parliament Building, New Baneswor at 1:00 pm today.

The agenda for today’s meeting includes the nomination of the members who will preside over sessions in the absence of the NA Chairman and Vice Chairperson.

In addition to this nomination, the meeting is expected to address potential changes in the names and nominations of members in thematic committees.

Furthermore, discussions will focus on setting a date for the election of vacant chairpersons for the thematic committees of the National Assembly.

Amidst these deliberations, the meeting will also engage in discussions on the principles and priorities outlined in the Appropriation Bill for the upcoming financial year 2081-082.
