Sudurpaschim reports nine new COVID-19 cases in three days

DHANGADHI: Over the past three days, Sudurpaschim Province has recorded a surge in COVID-19 cases, with a total of nine new infections.

According to the Directorate of Health Services, nine individuals who returned home from India tested positive for the coronavirus through antigen testing.

Samples were collected from various border points in the province, including Gauriphanta, Gaddachauki, Jhulaghat, and Pulghat. After detecting COVID-19 infections in eight individuals, the samples were sent to the central laboratory for further testing.

Ganesh Saud, an Assistant Health Worker and health desk officer at the Gauriphanta border, emphasized the importance of adhering to health safety measures. He advised individuals with confirmed infections to undergo home isolation and seek medical attention if their condition worsens.
