NEPSE falls by 33 points



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a decline on the last trading day of the week.

On Thursday, shares worth NPR 6.14 billion were traded, with the NEPSE index dropping by 33.42 points.

On Thursday, all sectors except the industry and mutual fund sectors saw a decline.

Among these, the life insurance group index fell the most, losing 180.41 points, while the industry group index rose by 26.53 points.

During Thursday’s trading, the share prices of 204 companies decreased, while 40 companies saw their share prices increase.

Notably, traders in shares of Trishuli Hydropower Company saw the highest gains, while those trading shares of Janaki Finance Company faced the most significant losses.
