Rabi Lamichhane’s detention extended for 5 more days



KATHMANDU: The Kaski District Court has granted permission to extend the detention of Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), for an additional five days.

Lamichhane has been in custody at the Kaski District Police Office since October 18, in connection with the Surya Darshan Cooperative fraud case in Pokhara.

Today, he was presented before the court for the seventh time.

The bench, led by District Judge Chandrakant Poudel, approved the five-day detention extension.
