Bus driver killed by falling rock on Narayangadh-Muglin road



MUGLIN: A tragic incident occurred on the Narayangadh-Muglin road in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29, where a bus driver lost his life after being struck by a rock that fell during a landslide.

The driver, 36-year-old Meghnath BK from Nawalparasi, was driving bus number Lu 2 B 6566 from Butwal to Kathmandu when the incident happened around 3 am on Friday morning.

According to Bhesraj Rizal, spokesperson of the District Police Office Chitwan, the landslide swept away two passenger buses, and BK was fatally injured by a falling stone during the calamity.

Despite efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at 4 am while undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical College.
