Monsoon currently affecting Nepal’s eastern part

KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecast Division has reported that the monsoon system is currently affecting the eastern part of Nepal.

Additionally, the rest of the country is experiencing the partial effects of local wind, westerly wind, and a low-pressure area formed around India’s Bihar.

According to the Division, light rain is occurring in some places in the Koshi Province due to the monsoon system’s influence.

In the hilly areas of the Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces, it is partly to mostly cloudy, while the weather in other parts is clear.

In the afternoon, the weather will remain mostly clear in the hilly areas of the Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, with the rest of the country being partly cloudy.

There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in a few places in the hilly areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Koshi provinces, and in a couple of places in the rest of the country.

Tonight, it will be partly to mostly cloudy in the hilly areas of the Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to mainly clear weather.
