PARBAT: Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs, Padam Giri, has emphasized that the federal government should promptly formulate the necessary laws for the three tiers of government without any delay.
During a press meet organized by the Parbat chapter of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Minister Giri stated that the ministry is actively engaged in drafting the required laws.
He acknowledged the grievances of federal, provincial, and local governments, emphasizing the urgency to address the issue by formulating the necessary laws as quickly as possible.
Minister Giri highlighted the unfavorable nature of some existing policies and laws in the current context and stressed the importance of formulating policies and laws that benefit the country and its people.
He expressed his commitment to coordinating with all relevant ministries and bodies to fulfill the responsibility of crafting laws and acts.
Addressing the economic challenges faced by the country, Minister Giri underscored the need for appropriate laws to bring about reforms.
He assured that the government is dedicated to ensuring good governance and is actively pursuing result-oriented initiatives.
The Law Minister asserted that the government is focused on ending anomalies in the judicial sector.
He confidently stated that the current power alliance intends to complete its remaining four-year term, indicating that crucial acts related to truth and reconciliation, federal civil service, and education will be promptly passed in parliament.
