HoR meeting taking place today



KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives (HoR) is scheduled to meet at 1:00 PM today.

The Parliament Secretariat informed that the Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs, Ajay Kumar Chaurasiya, will register a notice regarding the formation of a consumers’ court.

According to the tentative schedule, the Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, will table a proposal to refer the ‘Mass Communications Council Bill, 2081,’ originating in the National Assembly, to the relevant committee for clause-by-clause deliberation.

Additionally, the Minister for Forest and Environment, Ain Bahadur Shahi, will present a proposal for deliberation on the Montreal Protocol Kigali Amendment.
