Sudurpaschim likely to witness rainfall; snow in mountains



KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has reported a partial effect of the western low-pressure system currently influencing Nepal.

As of now, the weather remains clear in most parts of the country, with a noticeable shift in the hilly regions.

This afternoon, hilly areas are likely to witness mostly clear conditions, while other regions may experience partial cloudiness.

There is a likelihood of light rain in isolated locations within the hilly areas of Sudurpaschim Province.

Simultaneously, there’s a chance of light snowfall in certain high hills and mountainous areas across the country.

Tonight, the weather is anticipated to stay clear in the hilly regions, with other areas experiencing partial cloud cover.

A potential for light snowfall exists in select locations within the high hills and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali.
