Kathmandu Valley witnesses gradual rise in temperature



KATHMANDU: The temperature in Kathmandu Valley is on a steady incline, with the minimum reaching above 5 degrees today.

As per the Weather Forecasting Division records, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley recorded 5.2 degrees Celsius on Monday morning.

Comparatively, the minimum temperature in the Valley was 4.7 degrees Celsius on Sunday, 4.5 degrees Celsius on Saturday, and 3.5 degrees Celsius on Friday.

The increasing trend raises concerns about the warming climate in the region.

Meanwhile, the Division has reported a partial change in the mountainous regions, with clear conditions prevailing in the rest of the area at the moment.
