JHAPA: A 72-year-old man has been arrested on allegations of forcibly assaulting a 52-year-old woman in Jhapa.
The arrestee has been identified as Dhan Bahadur Shrestha, residing in Pragati Tol of Mechinagar Municipality-12. The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon, and the local police team from Charali arrested him based on the ongoing investigation.
According to the police, Shrestha is accused of committing the sexual assault against the woman on Tuesday afternoon.
Further investigation into the incident is underway, the police said.
