RPP hosting tea reception today, more than 8,000 guests invited



KATHMANDU: In observance of the 302nd Prithivi Jayanti and National Unity Day, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is set to host a tea reception at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu.

The party has extended invitations to more than 8,000 distinguished guests, including the Prime Minister, Ministers, political leaders, diplomats, representatives of constitutional bodies, religious institutions, businesspersons, industrialists, and experts.

Preceding the reception, the party has planned a rally and a ceremony to garland the statue of Prithivi Narayan Shah, located in front of the Singha Durbar in Kathmandu, according to spokesperson Mohan Shrestha.

The event aims to honor the 302nd birth anniversary of King Prithvi Narayan Shah and celebrate the spirit of National Unity.
