KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has reported that monsoon air is currently affecting most of Madhesh Province, as well as the Koshi and eastern parts of Bagmati Province.
Meanwhile, western winds are influencing the rest of the country.
According to the Division, the weather is partly to mostly cloudy in the hilly areas, while the rest of the country remains mostly clear.
This afternoon, expect partly cloudy to mostly clear conditions in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
However, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in a few areas of Koshi, as well as the hilly regions of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
Tonight, the weather is likely to remain partly cloudy to mostly clear in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning may occur in some areas of these regions.
