KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the exchange rates for foreign currencies today, Wednesday.
The value of several currencies, including the US and Australian dollars, British pounds, Qatari and Saudi riyals, as well as Kuwaiti and Bahraini dinars, has increased.
The UAE dirham has also appreciated. In contrast, the Euro has seen a decline in value.
According to the rates published by Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is NPR 134.07, with a selling rate of NPR 134.67. This is up from yesterday’s rates of NPR 134.04 for buying and NPR 134.64 for selling.
For the Euro, the buying rate remains at NPR 147.95, while the selling rate is NPR 148.62. Yesterday, the rates were NPR 147.96 for buying and NPR 148.62 for selling.
The British pound sterling is valued at NPR 175.58 for buying and NPR 176.37 for selling today. Yesterday, the buying rate was NPR 175.36 and the selling rate was NPR 176.14.
One Australian dollar is priced at NPR 89.42 for buying and NPR 89.81 for selling. The previous day’s rates were NPR 89.22 for buying and NPR 89.62 for selling.
The Saudi Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 35.73 and a selling rate of NPR 35.89 today. Yesterday, the rates were NPR 35.31 for buying and NPR 35.87 for selling.
