Indian Foreign Secretary Misri meets with NC President Deuba



KATHMANDU: Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri met with Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba at his office in Budhanilkantha.

Secretary Misri is currently in Kathmandu on an official visit, following an invitation from Nepal’s Foreign Secretary, Sewa Lamsal.

The discussion between Misri and Deuba centered on strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.

Earlier, Secretary Misri also held meetings with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, President Ram Chandra Paudel, and CPN (Maoist) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

Secretary Misri is scheduled to return to India tomorrow, concluding his two-day visit.
