Singer Prakash Timilsina passes away



KATHMANDU: Singer Prakash Timilsina has passed away.

Lalitpur Police Spokesperson Nareshraj Subedi stated that Timilsina was found dead in his room at Adinath Marg, Lalitpur Metropolitan City.

According to Subedi, Timilsina was found dead in his bed around 9 pm on Saturday.

His body has been taken to Patan Hospital for a post-mortem.

Timilsina, known for popular songs such as ‘Priya Timro siundoma bharna deu’, ‘Timro haatko sindoor’, ‘Jun dhandina’, ‘Naman laj yesari’, and ‘Na Aaye ni hunthyo’, first gained prominence through the singing competition ‘Nepali Tara’.

Family sources have stated that Timilsina will be cremated at Pashupati today.
