Janamat Party to vote against PM Prachanda



KATHMANDU: The Janamat Party, led by CK Raut, has decided not to give a vote of confidence to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.

According to Janamat Party spokesperson Dr. Sharad Singh Yadav, the party meeting held in Kathmandu on Thursday decided to withdraw the support given to the government and vote against Prime Minister Dahal.

With the new alliance formed between the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML, several parties, including the UML, have withdrawn their support for the government.

Following the withdrawal of support from the coalition partners, Prime Minister Dahal will seek a vote of confidence in Parliament on July 12.
