Nepali Army appoints Brigadier General KC as new spokesperson

KATHMANDU: Brigadier General Gaurav Kumar KC has been appointed as the new spokesperson for the Nepali Army, announced the Army Headquarters.

Brig. Gen. KC, currently serving as the Chief of the NA Number 3 Brigade Office in Pokhara, will assume the role of Director of the Army Public Relations and Information as well as the Army Spokesperson.

The current Army Spokesperson, Krishna Prasad Bhandari, will transition to a new role at the Army Archives in the Army Headquarters.

He is expected to formally hand over the responsibilities to Brig. Gen. KC in the coming days.

The Army Public Relations and Information Directorate, responsible for disseminating information about the Nepali Army, was established on April 2, 2002.
