The meeting, a routine occurrence between the top leaders of the ruling coalition, focused on reshaping the alliance in light of recent political shifts.

Baluwatar sources said, “Following the new equation, there is a need to reorganize various aspects within the alliance.”

The leaders dedicated an hour to deliberating on this topic, emphasizing the importance of aligning their strategies.

Among the key issues tackled during the meeting were the upcoming National Assembly Speaker election scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday), the Prime Minister’s planned vote of confidence, and the government’s Common Minimum Program (CMP).

In response to the ruling coalition’s nomination, the Maoist Center put forward Narayan Dahal for the role of National Assembly Speaker.

Prime Minister Dahal is gearing up for a vote of confidence on March 13, following the withdrawal of Nepali Congress support in the aftermath of the alliance shift.
