As many as 400 foreign climbers set to climb Mt Everest this Spring



KATHMANDU: More than 400 foreign climbers are gearing up to ascend Mount Everest, the world’s tallest peak, from the Nepal side during the upcoming spring season.

Rishi Bhandari, the General Secretary of the Expedition Operators Association Nepal, said that the compiled expedition bookings indicate a minimum of 400 foreign climbers will be attempting the ascent.

Among the participants are Seven Summit Treks with 65 climbers, 8K Expeditions with 45 climbers, Furtenbach Adventures with 40 climbers, and Imagine Nepal Treks managing three teams comprising 35 foreign climbers each.
