Westerly low pressure system affecting Nepal’s weather

KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has reported a current partial effect of the western low-pressure system in Nepal.

As of now, the weather remains clear in most regions, experiencing a general shift in the Sudurpaschim Province and a partial change in the hilly areas of the Koshi Province.

Later today the skies will remain clear skies in the remaining hilly areas, including the Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces, with the possibility of partial to normal showers.

Likewise, the Division has also predicted the possibility of snowfall in selected locations of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces within the high hills and Himalayan areas, along with one or two spots in the high hills and Himalayan regions.

Tonight, the weather is predicted to clear up in the remaining hilly areas of the country, accompanied by partial to normal showers.
