Hearing against rape and murder-accused Bamjan begins in Sarlahi



MALANGWA: Ram Bahadur Bamjan, the defendant facing allegations of murder and sexual violence, made his appearance before the Sarlahi District Court as the legal proceedings against him commenced.

Following the issuance of an arrest warrant by the Sarlahi District Court, Bamjan was brought before the court to face the charges.

The court proceedings for the case have begun, with Judge Bishnu Regmi presiding over the bench.

The Sarlahi District Court had granted permission for the police to apprehend Bamjan in connection with charges related to murder and sexual exploitation.

The Central Investigation Bureau carried out the arrest on Tuesday, bringing Bamjan into custody for the pending trial.
