BIRGUNJ: Minister for Water Supply, Pradeep Yadav, has directed the bodies concerned to work in the drinking water sector being focused and responsible to the people.

In the course of the onsite visit and monitoring of Nepal Water Supply Corporation, Birgunj, in Parsa today, Minister Yadav asked the bodies concerned to distribute clean, pure and safe drinking water to the citizens as it is the main objective of the government.

He shared, “The main objective of the incumbent government is to provide clean and safe drinking water to the citizens. I ask you to carry out activities being responsible to the citizens as per the government’s goal.”

The Water Supply Minister further said the government is active in materializing the ‘One house, one tap’ national campaign.

Minister Yadav directed the employees to bring drinking water projects that are in the phase of the agreement after the tender process into implementation immediately.

Similarly, the Chief of Nepal Water Supply Corporation, Birgunj branch, Pravin Kumar Sah, shared that there are 11,450 customers of drinking water in the Birgunj metropolis and they have been distributing clean and pure drinking water.
