No need for RSP to make unnecessary noise over Rabi’s arrest: Deuba

DHANGADHI: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has stated that there was no need for leaders and activists of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) to make unnecessary noise regarding the arrest of its Chairman Rabi Lamichhane.

Speaking to reporters at Dhangadhi Airport while en route to his home district of Dadeldhura, Deuba emphasized that Nepali Congress leaders have never raised a fuss when similar cases have occurred in the past.

He also remarked that Lamichhane should cooperate with the court process.

Deuba clarified that the current government, led by Prime Minister KP Oli, will continue without interruption and that the 7-point agreement between Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML will be fully implemented.

President Deuba is expected to stay in Dadeldhura for about a week, during which he will participate in various local programs.
