PM Sushila Karki casts vote in Tokha, urges citizens to participate



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushila Karki cast her vote on Thursday morning at a polling centre in Dhapsi, Tokha Municipality, Kathmandu.

Earlier in the morning, the Prime Minister had urged citizens through social media to participate enthusiastically in the election.

In her message, she wrote, “I sincerely urge everyone to compulsorily visit their polling centers and exercise their invaluable right to vote. Each of your votes is important in determining our future. I extend my gratitude for the patience and understanding shown to ensure a peaceful election.”

Voting for the House of Representatives is taking place nationwide from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
