Cabinet meeting taking place today

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Council of Ministers is taking place today evening.

According to Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the meeting of the Council of Ministers will take place at the Prime Minister’s Office, Singha Durbar, at 5:00 pm on Sunday.

The Cabinet meeting, originally scheduled for Thursday, was postponed due to the Prime Minister’s illness.

The regular meetings of the Council of Ministers are typically held on Mondays and Thursdays.

However, as Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to travel outside the Kathmandu Valley on Monday, today’s meeting has been convened instead, as per his Secretariat.

The meeting is expected to involve discussions on appointments and promotions.
