KATHMANDU: The Everest Hotel management has expressed serious concern over recent media reports claiming that The Everest Hotel is up for sale.
In response, it has firmly denied these allegations, labeling them as malicious and ill-intentioned.
“There is no plan to sell the hotel as reported by some online media outlets,” stated a release from the hotel management, which has taken legal action against these baseless claims.
The Everest Hotel, a well-established institution in New Baneswor, Kathmandu, has been in operation for the past 46 years.
The management asserted that these reports are a deliberate attempt to tarnish the hotel’s esteemed reputation and undermine its quality service provided to both international and domestic guests.
In addition to its contribution to the government through revenue, the hotel supports the local economy by providing employment to hundreds of individuals, the statement said.
The hotel management has called for strict action against those spreading false information to damage the hotel’s standing.
