Moderate to heavy rain expected across Nepal today



KATHMANDU: Light rainfall has been reported this morning in a few locations within the Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Later this afternoon, heavy rainfall is expected in several areas of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, and in one or two locations within Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.

This weather pattern is influenced by active Monsoon winds prevailing across the country.

Tonight, the weather is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy nationwide, with light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning likely in many areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. A few places in Madhesh province may also experience similar weather conditions.
