Janamat Party suspends seven members including Secretary Sah

KATHMANDU: The Janamat Party has suspended its National Secretary, Bishweshwar Prasad Sah (BP), along with six other members.

The announcement was made through a press release issued on Wednesday.

Anita Kumari Mandal, the member secretary of the party’s Central Discipline Department, confirmed the suspension of Central Member Rameshwar Yadav along with Sah.

The suspended members include Krishna Chandra Sah, Municipal Secretary of Mirchaiya Municipality, former Municipal Secretary Dipnarayan Sah, student leader Arvind Sah, ordinary member Dhiraj Kamati, and ward candidate Anita Kumari Yadav.

Mandal stated that the Central Discipline Committee’s meeting, held at the Central Contact Office in Mid-Baneshwar on July 4, decided to suspend these members.

The decision follows an internal investigation which concluded that these members had exhibited indiscipline against the party’s policies and constitution.

Consequently, all seven members have been suspended for three months, effective from Wednesday.
