4.4 magnitude earthquake strikes Taplejung



KATHMANDU: An earthquake with its epicenter at Tapethok in the Taplejung district was recorded today.

The tremor, measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale, occurred at 10:46 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre in Lainchaur.

Earlier, on June 28, an earthquake with its epicenter at Helambu in Sindhupalchowk was also recorded.
