BIRGUNJ: Birgunj Metropolitan City has directed public and private schools to conduct classes only until 10:30 am due to the recent extreme rise in temperature.

A meeting of the metropolitan city led to this directive, which takes effect immediately.

Bhattarai noted the Meteorological Department’s forecast indicating a potential further increase in temperatures in the Tarai-Madhes region.
