KATHMANDU: Gold prices have soared to unprecedented levels yet again, with fine gold reaching a new record high of Rs 136,800 per tola on Wednesday.
This surge of Rs 500 per tola further adds to the remarkable spike witnessed in recent weeks, reflecting the ongoing volatility in the precious metals market.
According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold has now been fixed at Rs 136,800 per tola, while standard gold is being traded at Rs 136,150 per tola.
Meanwhile, the price of silver has remained relatively stable, holding steady at Rs 1,700 per tola.
It’s important to note that a tola is equivalent to 11.66 grams
