Light rain and thunder expected in several regions

KATHMANDU: The weather forecast for today indicates a mix of conditions across Nepal, with partly to generally cloudy skies in the hilly regions and mainly fair weather in the rest of the country.

However, residents in certain areas should remain prepared for potential changes in the weather.

In the hilly regions of Koshi Province, Gandaki Province, Karnali Province, and Sudur Pashchim Province, there is a likelihood of light rain or thunder and lightning occurring at a few places. Additionally, there may be chances of light snowfall at a few places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of the country.

As night falls, the hilly regions of Koshi Province, Gandaki Province, and Karnali Province are expected to experience partly to generally cloudy conditions, while the rest of the country should remain mainly fair. R

esidents in Koshi Province and Gandaki Province should be aware of the possibility of light rain or thunder and lightning at one or two places.

Moreover, there is a chance of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi Province and Gandaki Province during the night.
