KATHMANDU: Krystyna Pyszková from the Czech Republic emerged victorious as Miss World 2024, triumphing over 111 contestants from around the globe in the prestigious pageant held in Mumbai, India.

Pyszková clinched the crown ahead of three runners-up: Yasmina Zeytoun from Lebanon, Aché Abrahams from Trinidad and Tobago, and Lesego Chombo from Botswana.

Additionally, these women, along with Jessica Gagen from England, were recognized as the pageant’s “continental winners.”

Taking over the reins from Karolina Bielawska of Poland, the outgoing Miss World, Pyszková’s victory marks a significant moment in the pageant’s history.

Notably, due to scheduling constraints, the Miss World pageant was not held in 2023.
