Maoist Center’s SC meeting underway in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: The ongoing meeting of the Standing Committee (SC) of the ruling CPN-Maoist Center is taking place at the party headquarters in Parisdanda, Kathmandu.

According to Maoist Center sources, leaders are engaged in discussions on the draft of the party statutes prepared by the committee under the leadership of Vice-Chair Pampha Bhusal.

The proposal committee members have presented detailed explanations of their proposal. The meeting is expected to approve the proposal, including any amendments, today.

Central Committee meetings are scheduled for Saturday and Monday.

The Statute Convention is set to be held at Pragya Bhawan, Kamaladi, from the 13th to the 15th of February.
