KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has reported a partial influence of westerly winds in Nepal.
The prevailing weather across the country is generally clear, but there’s a noticeable shift in the hilly regions.
This afternoon, the weather is expected to be predominantly clear in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
However, there’s a likelihood of light snowfall at isolated spots in the high hills and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
As night falls, the weather will mostly clear in the aforementioned hilly regions.
Nevertheless, there remains a possibility of light snowfall in specific areas of the high hills and Himalayas in Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
Given the potential for light snowfall in select highland and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, the Weather Forecasting Division has urged the public to take necessary precautions.
